Dr. Brian Ulmer is a diabetologist at St. Vincent Medical Group in Indianapolis, Indiana. In addition to his practice, he serves on the organization’s Glycemic Action Committee and is the diabetes lead for their remote care monitoring program. Previously, Dr. Ulmer was affiliated with Indiana University Health-Methodist Hospital, where he served on the Inpatient Diabetes Leadership Committee and directed the inpatient glucose management team.

Dr. Ulmer frequently lectures on inpatient glycemic management and continues to dedicate time to clinical research, including the safe use of insulin during hospitalization. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from University of Notre Dame and completed his medical degree and residency at Indiana University School of Medicine.
