Paul Chidester, MD, FACP

Chief Medical Officer

Serving as Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Paul Chidester works with clinicians and executives both internally and externally to enhance and measure the clinical effectiveness of EndoTool.

For more than a decade, Dr. Chidester served as a physician executive with the largest healthcare system in Virginia, leading efforts to improve glucose control, which included the implementation of an electronic glycemic management system across twelve hospitals. He is able to assist clients in the development and implementation of a glycemic management program to improve patient outcomes and reduce resource utilization.

Prior to his role as a healthcare system executive, Dr. Chidester served as a practicing nephrologist for 18 years. He participated in multiple clinical research trials, and was also on the faculty at Eastern Virginal Medical School.

Dr. Chidester trained at University of Pittsburgh and in the United States Navy. He has published numerous studies supporting the benefits of technology-enabled glycemic management.
