The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a new patent allowance, “Systems and Methods for Determining Insulin Therapy for a Patient,” describing unique methods and systems for more individualized insulin therapy in the inpatient setting.

Presenter Jane Jeffrie Seley, Program Manager of Inpatient Glycemic Control Program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine, will focus on strategies to engage nursing staff in glycemic management practices.

The new module enables clients to further mine patient data and identify larger trends in clinical outcomes and processes using existing analytics tools and infrastructure.
