Monarch Medical Technologies Assembles Glucose Management Innovators and Thought Leaders at 2017 EndoTool User Group Meeting

EndoTool user community gathers in Charlotte to share best practices, innovations and industry trends for optimizing glycemic control of in-hospital patients.

Monarch Medical Technologies, the leader in electronic glycemic management systems for in-hospital patients, today announced that they will be hosting the first annual EndoTool User Group Meeting on October 19th at the Hotel Le Méridien in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event is an opportunity for users of the innovative EndoTool platform to share best practices and lessons learned from using EndoTool across hospital units and patient populations and learn from the experiences of others on how to optimize glycemic control.

The agenda includes industry thought leaders across numerous hospital organizations sharing clinical results, change management strategies for key stakeholders, and industry trends for glucose management. The meeting will also feature presentations from the Monarch leadership team as well as open discussion and user feedback workshops.

Agenda highlights and speakers at the 2017 EndoTool User Group Meeting include:

  • Thomas Garthwaite, MD and Wendy Gay, PharmD from the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) discussing taking an enterprise approach to electronic glucose management.
  • Maresa Glass, PharmD from Tampa General Hospital and Linda Currie, RN from Virginia Commonwealth University Health speaking on a panel about clinical results and adoption best practices.
  • Ann Keillor, Ed.D, RN, from Santa Rosa Consulting discussing best practices for successful EndoTool integration with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to optimize user workflow.
  • Sandra Hardee from Vidant Health sharing results from a study comparing paper protocols to EndoTool in DKA patient populations.
