Monarch Medical Technologies Announces Nursing Advisory Board to Advance Patient-Specific Glycemic Management
Monarch Medical Technologies, the leader in patient-specific insulin dosing technology, proudly announces the expansion of its Nursing Advisory Board (NAB) – a strategic initiative aimed at optimizing nursing workflows and enhancing the integration of EndoTool®, the company’s industry-leading inpatient insulin dosing software.
Comprised of nursing professionals from leading healthcare systems, including Beacon Health System, Valley Health, Sharp, University Medical Centre Health System, VCU Health, UNC, Corewell Health and Southern Illinois Healthcare.
The NAB will provide critical insights and recommendations to optimize nursing workflows, address unmet clinical needs, and ensure that Monarch’s innovations continue to support frontline care teams in delivering safe and effective glycemic management.
“Nurses are the backbone of inpatient care, and their expertise is invaluable in shaping the future of patient-specific insulin dosing and glycemic control,” said Charles Cornish, CEO of Monarch Medical Technologies.
“With the launch of our formal Nursing Advisory Board, we are strengthening our commitment to a two-pronged R&D approach: creating the best solutions for clinical outcomes while ensuring they are trusted and embraced by nurses. EndoTool continues to be the most trusted and effective solution in hospitals today.”
At the helm of the NAB is Laura Santana, RN, BSN, Clinical Initiative Lead at Monarch Medical Technologies, who brings extensive bedside nursing experience and a passion for integrating innovative solutions into clinical practice.
Laura was part of the original team that worked alongside Dr. Patrick Burgess, MD, PhD, the founder and inventor of EndoTool.
“Having been there at the beginning, I’ve seen firsthand how EndoTool has transformed insulin dosing for patients and nurses alike,” said Santana.
“This Nursing Advisory Board is an incredible opportunity to elevate nursing perspectives and ensure that our technology continues to support best practices in glycemic management.”
This collaboration with the NAB reaffirms Monarch’s dedication to advancing patient care through innovative, nurse-driven solutions that enhance both clinical outcomes and nursing efficiency.
