Maresa Glass, PharmD, BCCCP, FCCM

Assistant Director of Clinical Services, Tampa General Hospital

Dr. Maresa Glass is Assistant Director of Clinical Services at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. In her role, she is responsible for coordinating the pharmaceutical care of adult critically ill patients. She has initiated a number of a protocols, guidelines and educational programs that focus on improving patient safety. Dr. Glass leads the hospital’s multidisciplinary Medication Management Process Team, a group that focuses on optimizing medication use. She also serves as a liaison between the pharmacy department and the Epic EMR teams, working to identify and build system changes to improve patient safety and end user workflow.

Since 2007, Dr. Glass has served as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at University of Florida Health Science Center, College of Pharmacy. She is also an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine as well as a frequent author and investigator.

Dr. Glass obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Florida and completed her pharmacy residency practice at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.
